Oven Roasted Cauliflower with Smoked Paprika

This easy, out-of-the-ordinary recipe for oven roasted cauliflower with smoked paprika is great for holiday menus or a special, "company's coming" dinner. Smoked paprika adds a wonderful depth of mildly sweet flavor to vegetables.
serves 4



1 head fresh cauliflower

2-4 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

salt and pepper to taste

Oven Roasted Cauliflower with Smoked Paprika

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F and Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Remove stem and leaves from cauliflower head. Cut head in to 1/4-inch wide slices. There will be lots of crumbs. Put the slices and crumbs into a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season with smoked paprika and salt and pepper. Stir to thoroughly coat cauliflower.
  3. Turn cauliflower onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread the cauliflower slices evenly on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until cauliflower begins to brown.
