Wisconsin You Betcha’ Cheese Ball

Let’s face it, Wisconsin is the defacto cheese ball capitol. This simple-to-make party-pleaser features Wisconsin ingredients, naturally! You can make it ahead of time since the flavors get better with a few days of chilling. The best drink to pair with it … an Old Fashioned of course!

Ingredients

1 package (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
6 ounces grated Wisconsin sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon of Colonel Pabst Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon Door County brandy
2 teaspoons minced sweet onion
¼ teaspoon sweet paprika
Pinch cayenne pepper
½ cup toasted and chopped pecans
Fancy crackers for serving

Directions

1. Put all ingredients except the pecans in a mixer bowl and beat until fluffy and well mixed.
2. Form into a ball and roll in pecans, until fully coated. You can also make smaller balls, but you may need more pecans.
3. Chill for at least 1 hour; and up to several days ahead for maximum flavor.
4. Put on a pretty plate and surround the cheese ball with fancy crackers.
