Global Flavors Market
March 3 - July 9, 2017
Outpost is a proud supporter of Global Kitchen
Participate in a pop up museum at Outpost Natural Foods!
Saturday, May 6, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Capitol Drive Outpost's Community Room
100 E. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee
What is it?
A pop-up museum is a small, temporary exhibit outside the walls of the Milwaukee Public Museum. There's always a new theme and the Museum is asking you, our community, to showcase your objects and stories that fit the theme.
What can I bring?
Any object or image that is portable and tells your story is encouraged. Come prepared to share your story with the world! Just remember that this is a public event and people may want to touch your object. As your hosts, neither the Museum or Outpost are responsible for the safety of whatever you bring.
What’s the theme?
Food Traditions! We’ve got a craving to hear about your food traditions. Food helps us remember where we came from, whether that’s another city or country. Recipes span generations, continents, and oceans. If you have an object, photograph, or story that shows your food traditions, share it with us – we can’t wait to put it on exhibit.
