So, who better to tell you about what it’s like to work for Milwaukee’s original natural foods retailer than one of our own?

Meet Tom Knueppel, our Mequon store manager.

We asked Tom what he likes most about working for Outpost, here’s what he had to say:

This starts at the top and that's why we are the friendliest and most helpful store in town."

What’s it like to be a part of Outpost’s management team? 

“We are able to have a great balance between work and home life. We are treated with respect and appreciation and that makes it a pleasure to come to work. I feel the atmosphere working at Outpost Natural Foods for the last 11 years has been relaxing and very fulfilling to me. We really have the time to interact with our owners and customers making their day and their experience shopping wonderful."

Here’s a little bit about Tom Knueppel:

Tom started with Outpost in 2005 as the assistant manager at our Capitol Drive store. He moved to our Wauwatosa store where he took over as manager in 2008. He also managed our Bay View store, where he helped oversee a successful remodeling project in 2013 before being hired as the manager of our Mequon store. Tom started his retail grocery career with the Kohl's Food Store chain.
