Tosa Construction Updates
Construction Junction - Tosa Village Project Comes to Our Corner!
We are really excited that our little "end of the block" will be getting all of the cool upgrades you see in the Village Center, and we're also looking forward to increased safety along the railroad tracks and at the crossings!
Work is slated to begin on State Street from 68th Street to Wauwatosa Avenue the week of April 23rd. There will be some simple detours but don't worry - you'll be able to easily access our parking lot and store throughout the project.
Check back regularly on this page and as soon as we get updates on construction progress, we'll share them with you.
State Street Road Construction Update: May 10
- Work is proceeding on the sewer line installation. There has been a slow down with the rain this week, but the plan to start sewer work between 70th and 74th Street next week is still planned. The planned lane shift between 68th and 70th Street will occur Friday May 11.
- Major work impacting ease of getting to Outpost will occur on Monday May 14 and Tuesday May 15. 70th Street south of State Street will be closed to traffic as the contractors do some sewer work along and under the railroad tracks.
- On May 18, if weather cooperates the traffic will all shift to the south side of State Street while they remove the north side road bed and sidewalks. Outpost’s 70th Street entry will be maintained open unless they are doing curb work or paving work directly in front of the entry.
- There will be another lane shift on May 21st. All State Street traffic will be switched to the south side of the street between 68th and 74th Street so that the north side lanes, sidewalks and curbs can all be removed and replaced. The intersection of 70th and State will remain open, but our driveway entry onto State may be closed at times.
