What happens when three friends with a background in beer and a love for Milwaukee get together? Good City Brewing is born. Andy Jones honed his skills at Goose Island in Chicago and then at Milwaukee’s own Lakefront Brewing before connecting with fellow future Good City founders Dan Katt and David Dupee during a Craft Brewers Conference in Portland. They all immediately hit it off over a shared entrepreneurial itch and desire to see Milwaukee grow as craft beer city.  After sketching out a preliminary business plan and brewing several batches of the IPA recipe, the founders knew it was time to stop talking and actually start taking a risk on opening a business together that showcases Milwaukee.
