Meet Becca Guralnick: New Outpost Board Director

Hi, I’m Becca Guralnick and I’m new to the Outpost Board of Directors. I’m stoked to dedicate my time here because I’m passionate about working with businesses that care greatly about giving back to the community! 

I’ve been a professional chef since 2000. My experience included schooling and working in restaurants – from farm-to-table, to high-end French bistro, to rustic Italian - before starting my own culinary cooking and teaching business in Milwaukee. 

In the Italian restaurant, I’d start each day fermenting and baking focaccia from scratch, kneading fresh pasta and spätzle, and pounding veal for wiener schnitzel. On the cold side, I learned the value of selecting the best seasonal produce, and cleaning it as though it was a living sensitive living being so as to not crush the delicate cell structure and risk oxidization.

Selecting the best quality ingredients sets you up for success in the kitchen and transforms the finished product from ordinary to extraordinary. Outpost makes it easy to find exceptional, wholesome ingredients, carefully curated from conscientious producers, so you can grab healthy items without too much thought. Though on a typical day, you’ll still catch me grazing slowly through the aisles, obsessing over the unique offerings you can’t find elsewhere.
