"There are great resources available through the Internet that can help you navigate the world of food. Here are a few I think you will find useful. Also, be sure to visit our Savvy Shopper page for more useful information on being an informed consumer."
- Judy Mayer, DTR
We always say if you can't pronounce it, you probably shouldn't be eating it. Our current food system is under siege from an onslaught of chemicals, pesticides, colorings and other additives. Be Food Smart is a searchable database on those not-so-natural components found in the foods on the typical American grocery list.
"I love this! It's a great web-based resource for looking up the additives that are present in food. A must for everyone, and especially parents who are expecting or have small children."
