Long before they started a business, even before they married, Jack Fallucca and Zina Feliccia met in a town in Sicily … Palermo. Jack developed his love for food growing up in Sicily.
Zina, who grew up in a town not far from Jack, brought along cherished family recipes when she left for America. Jack had recipes of his own.
The two married and settled in Milwaukee, where they started a family and an Italian bakery, Palermo Villa, Inc., on Milwaukee’s east side. Jack and Zina eventually opened a restaurant that featured a number of Italian specialties, but it was their pizzas and pizza breads that were most in demand.
They started making frozen pizza breads in 1978 in an old bakery that was renovated into a manufacturing facility on Milwaukee's south side. Several years later, the company introduced twelve-inch round pizzas with crusts that were par-baked on-premise.
Over the next decade, Palermo’s continued to expand its line of frozen pizzas.
Today, just as it was when Jack and Zina started their company, every pizza Palermo’s produces is made with the utmost care using only the finest, high quality ingredients available … ingredients you just won’t find on other pizzas. You can find Palermo’s frozen pizzas at your favorite Outpost location.
