Garlic Shrimp

This recipe is great with pasta and makes for a quick meal on a busy weeknight. We love how garlicky these shrimp taste. You can adjust the garlic and spiciness to your liking.  
serves 4 to 6

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (you can leave the tails on)
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped

Garlic Shrimp

Directions

1.  Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes and shrimp.
2.  Season with salt and pepper. Cook for a few minutes until shrimp is pink and opaque and remove from heat. Toss with lemon juice and chopped parsley. Remove shrimp to a serving platter (toss out the garlic cloves).
