Food, Love and Policy By Unknown #2 on June 8, 2009
The food revolution, climate change and green living are heavy topics, so we at the Exchange magazine are always looking for uplifting, inspiring stories to share... spread the word, not the gloom.

Once in a while, we come across something that makes us chuckle, even though the message behind it is serious. A case in point:
"We face automobile traffic with our naked bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians as well as the negative consequences we all face due to dependence on oil, and other forms of non-renewable energy."
That is the message on the front page of the World Naked Bike Ride web site. Treehugger reports here about the event that takes place in cities all over the globe, including Chicago this weekend, Saturday June 13th. Milwaukee and Madison are not on the list, but we could blame our recent weather for that.
