From the Guardian's eco-desk comes news of a new Sustainable Restaurant Association in the United Kingdom. At first blush, it sounds wonderful; participating restaurateurs get a sticker to place in their window to say "we're at the table" on sustainability. Each year, members are expected to improve their efforts, checking off more boxes on a 100-item list of planet-friendly actions, and they can try for bronze, silver or gold status.
