After retiring from modeling, Nikki Taylor needed a job. She wanted to make and sell a better cookie, one with a list of ingredients people could understand and one that tasted homemade.
Nikki had tasted cookies from all around the world during her modeling days and had inherited recipes from her grandmothers — one, a recipe for an English shortbread cookie that dates back to the 1600s and the other, a recipe for a German gingerbread cookie.
After two years of researching how to introduce and market a specialty product, Nikki and her high school friend, Bill Danner, started selling cookies. That was 25 years ago. It’s truly a family business.
Nikki’s mother manages the office. Her brother is in charge of sales in Wisconsin. Her sister promotes and sells Nikki’s products in California. Her nephew is the shipping clerk. Nikki’s Cookies offers a healthier cookie made from “Old World” recipes that haven’t changed all that much, except for some natural flavors.
Nikki’s Cookies offers a variety of cookies, including Christmas and holiday cookies that come in fun shapes. Nikki uses quality ingredients from companies that have the same high standards as she does. You can find an assortment of Nikki’s Cookies at your favorite Outpost location.
