When you think of beef jerky, gourmet might not be the first word that jumps to mind. Ben Kramlich and his business partner Andrew Sell are working to change that with their line of Gourmet Grassfed products.
The Oshkosh-based company is small and currently makes two kinds of grass-fed beef jerky: Bold Original and Cherry Chipotle. Gourmet Grassfed beef jerky has “large flavor profiles, NOT large ingredient lists,” Ben says.
They’re made with grass-fed and finished beef raised without antibiotics or hormones. They’re made using a combination of organic spices, local fruits, herbs and vegetables. They’re naturally cured, leisurely roasted and smoked using a touch of real hardwood smoke.
There’s no gluten, MSG or any other artificial ingredients. Ben’s family has been in the food business for many years. But Ben’s passion is to inspire others to immerse themselves in the real food movement. That’s why he started Gourmet Grassfed.
He looks to partner with producers who have a desire and passion to grow, raise and otherwise produce foods in alignment with nature.
