Patterson's Apple Cider

Owned by Jay Patterson, this apple orchard and store is a true local, family business. It was founded in the late 1950s by Jay’s grandfather, Jean, and his dad, Dennis.

Today, the store sits on the same parcel of land in New Berlin. Jay was raised around the business, helping out when he was younger and says he loved it from the very beginning.

The Pattersons own a 30-acre orchard in the Town of Raymond near Racine, where they harvest the apples and pears that are brought to the New Berlin store for customers.

Jay sends his apples out wholesale, and provides Outpost with our delicious apple cider — which is treated with ultraviolet light to kill any bacteria. Jay and his employees make cider until January, and say the mighty Cortland is their best-selling apple.
